PNGTS Supports Junior Welders Program with $6000 Donation

The Portland Natural Gas Transmission System (PNGTS) recently supported the GMHS Junior Welders Program by donating $6000.  The Junior Welders Program is a collaborative effort between Gorham Middle & High School and White Mountains Community College.  Each year, GMHS students complete a 24-hour Junior Welders Program that introduces students to welding utilizing the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process. Students covered  Safety in Welding, Oxy-Fuel and Plasma Cutting, CNC Plasma Operation, and other welding related topics.  This program has become very popular and we cannot thank PNGTS enough for their continued support.  Pictured below with our Junior Welders are PNTGS representatives Carl Nadeau and Chris Drumney.
